Counselling Psychologist – Dr Thabile Adams

Dr. Adams is a counselling psychologist at Depero Health in Edenvale, Gauteng. She has been in private practice for a number of years. She has worked in different contexts: hospitals, employee wellness companies, schools, higher education, and non-profit organisations. ​

Dr. Adams collaborates with individuals to improve their mental and emotional well-being and alleviate distress. Her goal is to equip individuals and teams with the skills they need to handle crises, improve problem-solving skills, and build stronger relationships with others. Through the use of different interventions, she advocates for mental health consciousness. She uses different psychological tools which are grounded in cognitive-behavioural and solutions-focused approaches to aid in career and personal development, emotional well-being, and psychological adjustment. She believes individuals and teams can navigate life’s challenges given the space, time, and tools.
