Dr Khumo Merafe is a committed and experienced General Practitioner, dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare. With 7 years of experience in private primary healthcare, she has a particular interest in preventative care, management of both acute and chronic illnesses and women’s health.
After qualifying with a medical degree at University of the Witwatersrand in 2014, she completed her internship at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, and her community service at Mmametlhake District Hospital. During her time in the public sector she developed a vast array of skills in a variety of disciplines, which allows her to use a holistic approach when treating her patients.
Dr Khumo is passionate about educating her patients, thereby empowering them to take charge of their health. She develops a good rapport with her patients, in order to approach their health as a team. In so doing, she is able to detect illness early and optimize treatment as efficiently as possible.
